Extending Aino-Maija Metsola�s tales from the forest, the Kurre (squirrel) pattern presents a lively brood of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts � squirrels were a common sight in the designer�s childhood yard. The initial artwork was created on paper using a brush and ink.
