The Mono City Tote is made of organic cotton, and it features the Siluetti pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The large Marimekko “M” is printed in the front. The bag has both short and long handles, and an open pocket on the outside. There are drawstrings at the sides that can be used to tighten the opening and change the silhouette of the bag.
The Siluetti (silhouette) pattern depicts how the colors of the sky and sea melt into each other on the horizon. Carina Seth Andersson painted the thin, irregular stripes in varying hues with long strokes of a stiff brush.
