The Mangaani coat is made of water-repellent, bonded cotton twill in the Kivet pattern. The coat has a relaxed, straight fit. The coat has a high collar and a drawstring hood, a two-way metal zipper, and large flap pockets in the front. The sleeve ends can be tightened with snap buttons. The coat can be worn with the separate padded Kurtiini coat, so that when they are attached, the outer coat pockets lead into the inner coat pockets.

Maija Isola’s Kivet (stones) design builds on circles cut with scissors. The pattern was most likely inspired by the big rough-edged stones that were manually cleared from the designer’s atelier home’s grounds.

Hand wash with tepid water. Do not soak. Use liquid detergents. Close slide fasteners before washing. Wash inside out.
