The mid-indigo Maridenim Vaihe jean shirt is made of non-stretch cotton denim in the Logo pattern. The button-up shirt has a jean button closure, a chest pocket, and a back yoke seam. The cuffed sleeves have jean button closures and the hem has a slight curved cut.

Marimekko Maridenim products are designed following the Jeans Redesign guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, world´s leading network on circular economy. According to the guidelines, the denim material is monomaterial cotton (80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton) with no elastane. Marimekko Maridenim is made with minimal use of hardware, including the use of removable buttons and no rivets. The washing, finishing and use of chemicals also follow the guidelines. To produce the colours, patterns and desired feel of the products, we use, for example, laser technology, E-Flow steam washing and ozone washing, instead of, for example, traditional stone washing.

Maridenim products have a special finishing and patina which gives each piece a unique, distinctive character. This feature is part of the charm and appeal of Maridenim products.
